Big Band Summer Tour!

The Bristol University Big Bands have just returned from their Summer Tour of sailing along the Bath and Avon canals! Both bands played a number of gigs along the way, each one raising money for the Samaritans - over £600 in total! Well done to all involved!

Big Band at FRESH!

For all you new freshers and returning students - come and see the Big Band stall at FRESH on the 1st and 2nd of October in the Students' Union. Come along to sign-up to the society and for an audition. See you there!

New Albums Released!

Both Hornstars and BUJO have just released their new albums: Hornstars - Merchants of Menace and BUJO - Live in the Avon Gorge. Both albums are available to buy for £5 each by contacting our webmaster.

Big Band Society Honoured at the Society Awards!

The Big Band Society came away from this year's UBU Society Awards ceremony with two awards. On 10th June Sam Whitehead, the Society President, held up a Gold Award in recognition of his contribution to the society. We also won the award for the Best Website!
