Hornstars at the Vic Rooms!

This Friday, 12th March, Hornstars will be giving their annual concert at the Victoria Rooms! This promises to be a great opportunity to see the band at their very best. The concert begins at 1pm and ends at 2pm, so a perfect break from your lectures at lunch time! For more information click here.

Big Band Summer Tour!

The Bristol University Big Bands have just returned from their Summer Tour of sailing along the Bath and Avon canals! Both bands played a number of gigs along the way, each one raising money for the Samaritans - £700 in total! Well done to all involved!

New Albums Released!

Both Hornstars and BUJO have just released their new albums: Hornstars - Merchants of Menace and BUJO - Live in the Avon Gorge. Both albums are available to buy for £5 each by contacting our webmaster.

Big Band Society Honoured at the Society Awards!

The Big Band Society came away from this year's UBU Society Awards ceremony with two awards. On 10th June Sam Whitehead, the Society President, held up a Gold Award in recognition of his contribution to the society. We also won the award for the Best Website!
